Either he is not soliciting enough money to run, most likely by doing it ethically, or that shit he pulled on that rockaway garden group has come back to haunt him.
So Senator James Sanders decided awhile back to run against corrupt long time Congressman Gregory Meeks, while at around the same time Community Board 12 President Adrienne Adams announced she was running for his Sander’s Senate seat. Now, all of a sudden, Sanders ended his Congressional campaign, with no reason given and will defend his seat against Adams. Meeks right now is running unopposed (the Jamaica way.
What makes me think something went down in corrupt Jamaica good ole boys Southeast Queens territory. Now would have Adams jumped into the race IF Sanders did not announce earlier he was going up against Meeks. Did the recent “meeting of power brokers” with Meeks, Flake and Cuomo have anything to do with it. All of this sounds kind of fishy, bu then when you are talking about Southeast Queens, it is always kind of fishy. Oh the corrupt tangled webs that Southeast Queens weave.
All these elected officials from SE Queens over the years - both men and women - remind me of cartoon characters, or villains from the old Batman TV show. People from other cities (except Albany) and states would think they're fictional.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt

I bet that suit came with a ventriloquist dummy!
See his mouth move as he says 'Make the rich pay their fair share of taxes!"
That suit was the dummy's. Meeks had it alterated while he was working his mouth to make his announcement.
I wonder what happened when he met Preet?
Meeks actually does have an opponent in the primary, Ali Mirza
