Here's half of a house that I stumbled across on 103rd Street in Ozone Park, just north of 101st Ave.
Well that excavation looks kind of unstable.
It seems that the DOB & FDNY agree.
This was supposed to be an enlargement.
But it became more of a nightmare.

An optimist would look at this house as being half full; a pessimist would look at this as being half empty.
It will still get built. Just wait and see.
Remember it's just a slight "alteration" to the building. In my area they left one wall of a garage and built a huge house around it. the permit was for an alteration to the building.
Get use to it IT's Progress????
Dam shame. Im the good old day if you showed your house to "garbage" or did shit like this to F-ck up the neighborhood or "blockbust" some very large Italian men with thick necks and chewed up ears would show up and have a talk with you.
No work crew would even do the work for you without a donation and "nod" from the local minder. (and you better not show ugly plans)
Hell...You couldn't even get a cement or a dumpster without a "nod"
@Joe
Hah the gold old days!
>Mafia corruption was the "good old days"

Remind us what kind of corruption is in style today.
From top to bottom.
Come on, go on, name it.
Makes the mob look positively attractive.
Ancient style. Use steel studs
