Interesting house to meet the wrecking ball

From Sunnyside Post:

A two-story house sandwiched between the 7 train tracks and Woodside Library has a date with the wrecking ball.

Demolition plans were filed with the Department of Buildings at 54-21 Roosevelt Ave. earlier this month.

A small home characterized by jutting features and a mix of windows currently occupies the property.

In Queens, that's a no no!!!

That house is 240 years old and George Washington once slept there. But that's not significant enough to landmark???

It would be a nice house if the property was cleaned up a bit and that ugly disgusting brown building wasn't towering it. It's probably going to be knocked down to make it look like the ugly brown building next to it and will probably be another multi illegal family house.

Of course. This house doesn't belong in Queens. Time to put up another sh*tty brick box surrounded by chrome gates.

It once was a nice house with a Victorian multi colored glass arched window.
Now it is an aluminum box to be replaced by a bulkier brick one.
Nice to live smack up against an elevated train line. When it was first built, there was no el.

This house is not 240 years old. It was built in 1915. Check your facts, Anonymous.

Linda, go along with me. It was a satirical comment. Everyone knows Washington slept in the house across the street.

The brick building next door to this house is a piece of shit that was put together using Elmer's Glue !!
