Gazette a bit confused about election results

From the Queens Gazette:

As for the election in the 23rd Council district, the voting in that election was confined to residents of Oakland Gardens, Queens Village, Fresh Meadows, Floral Park, New Hyde Park, Glen Oaks, Hollis Hills, Douglaston, Bayside, Little Neck, and Bellerose.

In the only election that might result in an upset, the race to fill the City Council vacancy in the 23rd district, the unofficial returns show candidates Barry Grodenchik (Democrat) and Rebecca Lynch (Working Families Party) are close, and it may take a full vote count to determine the winner. A third candidate in that race, Joseph Concannon (Republican) doesn’t figure in the full count.

NY1's results show something much, much different.

Which results were the Gazette using?

If 100% have reported why isn't there a winner declared? Its not even close!

I guess they haven't checked the Cemetery rolls!

After the uprising of the 17th of June
The Secretary of the Writers’ Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee
Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government
And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier
In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?

"Die Lösung" (The Solution) is a famous German poem by Bertolt Brecht about the uprising of 1953 in East Germany.

That was for the September primary, genius, not yesterday's general election.

The Gazette removed the passage on the page. But it's still here.

Population must be 300,000 and only 7000 voted,

Anon no. 9: Which means that the 210,000 people who didn't vote (if the district is that big) have no right to complain about the results of the election, since they were too lazy to get off of their asses and do something to change them.

The Gazette has gone downhill and is pretty much

1. review of restaurants
2. self serving press releases from politicians
3. press releases from developers.

Good coverage of Whitestone and eastern Queens with frequent use of the word 'Vallone' that the old ladies in Vallonia still think applies to their boy on city council Petey Jr

I've made about a half dozen attempts at getting election results for my Queens district, all without success.
Does anyone know if there is one UPDATED link for the results of all districts in Queens?
This should'nt be as difficult as it appears to be.

The math may be off but the facts are not, people are not voting because they don't believe in the system anymore.

Let me try my question again: are their any QueensCrappers who are political nerds who can please post a link to ALL election results for ALL district ballots in the borough?
Nothing I've find doing searches gives me anything that is up to date. Anyone?

The latest results shown on the website you provided date to Sept 10th.
I contacted the Board directly, but don't expect a prompt - if any - reply.

The Gazette seems to be forever confused. Well, that's what passes for a newspaper.
