Homeless vets won't be resolved by end of year

From the Daily News:

One of the most ambitious plans from Mayor de Blasio’s State of the City speech — ending veteran homelessness by the end of the year — appears increasingly unlikely.

The number of homeless veterans remains at around 1,000 — the same number as in February, when the mayor announced his lofty goal.

Underscoring the difficulty of the goal — and the complications of battling chronic homelessness — the number hasn’t changed despite the city having placed 1,600 vets in housing.

This mayor sucks! He cares more about illegals than he does our vets! He will never do anything for them!

Just like the preferential treatment that illegal immigrants get in terms of EVERYTHING.
Including in state tuition, welfare, snap, etc...

Why are we are treating those who have sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy like criminals?

These Veterans should be taken care of as a priority!!!

But we know the majority of Vets did not vote for our wondrous mayor - so they will continue to be mistreated and left to rot.

And I am sure the Mayor will be making room in the shelters for the Syrian refugees coming here.

"If you can read this thank a teacher.
If you can read it in English, thank a Veteran."

OBTW
We need to send the troops to our southern border
Or we may all need to learn Spanish, Arabic, Turkish, and Urdu soon.
