Wait a minute he lives in Cedarhurst , Long island. Then why would I vote for someone who lives in Nassau county?
Also,this guy like most of the other candidates don't even talk about the real issues that are destroying our community.
Residency in Cedarhurst would disqualify him for the position entirely. Maybe, given his campaign lit. here, he doesn't know?

You are dealing with Queens politics, which means the ranks are a bit thin and we pretty much accept anyone that breaths.
At least he lives in the same state. More than we can say about Boss "Honest Joe" Crowley ... who BTW is having a fundraiser (what else) with Belinda - tkts start at $175.
Many people feel that 311 doesn't work (as I think Joe Moretti can attest to regarding issues in Jamaica), so what this guy should have said was that he would work to improve/overhaul it. Otherwise he looks clueless.
If he wins, does he have to move to the District by the time he takes office?
The Stavisky's never lived within THEIR district and their dynasty has been in politics since the 1960s.

Lets not make the same mistake again. We don't need another Weprin as our Council Member. We need someone who will work for the community and not the party that he represents.
FYI, interesting article from the Daily News in 2011 about NY's very liberal residency requirements - have no idea if anything has changed since then (doubt it).
Not to change the subject but sorry Barry Grodenchik, you might be a nice guy, good dad and love Queens.But there has to be a reason why the Democratic party Strongly supports you. We need change in Queens and In my opinion you might not be the right guy.

I concur Peter Koo is by far the worst councilman in NYC history. He just there because he is an asian. Pick another asian who can make a difference, why elect Koo for another term. Koo should not run for 2017 ( he started a committee already) Time for Young People
