It's probably because someone's relative has a contract to replace the windows.
I think the MTA's policy on advertising is worse,it makes the scrathitti look good and the cars in the 70's and 80's look like the ceiling on the sistine chapel.
there is also a row of cars covered with ads of a you tube video series.also the ads inside featuring one item.the trains have become rolling infomercials.
Flashback 1985 - I'm really worried we'll wind up looking back at the Giuliani-Bloomberg years as a golden age for nyc that didn't last. Especially with the poor outlook for the Yankees, whose quality historically rises and falls with the city's.
The city signed an moa when the Transit Police were merged into the NYPD in April of 1995 They agreed to keep the number of cops in the new Transit Division at the same strength. They lied,the number of cops on patrol is down about 800. Place the blame where it belongs.
