From Brownstoner Queens:
River Park Place, a waterfront parcel across from Sky View Parc in Flushing, is now up for grabs. New York YIMBY reports that LEV Group is trying to sell the site after purchasing it for $26,000,000 in 2006. Nothing’s built yet, but there are approved plans for a mixed-use development with four towers, 457 apartments, office space and a day care. (There’s potential to build up to a FAR of 4.8 if the developer also decides to include a community facility here.) The current plan was designed by architect Ismael Leyva.

Something is being built there now.
How does new crap like this get built so close to LGA?
Where are the luxury Bland Houses?
Did they miraculously disappear?
How many more asses will be sitting on all those luxury new apartment toilets pumping out more product? The Fushing River stinks bad enough now as it is. Chapter two is that another sewage retention tank has to be built. Who gets that contract?
The Chinese will live anywhere. Who else do you think this is for?
In the pretty rendering, the empty lot across the elevated tracks is very much developed, it's Skyview Parc(sic)
That is directly in the approach to LGA!!
Flooshing-Chinatown has its own rules. Pols have been told to look the other way about any law enforcement. They are happy that the Chinese settled the area as a colony, thereby keeping the Blacks and Latinos from downgrading the value of a lot of real estate which was traditionally owned by Jjews....for example...Schwartz and Mehran.
LOL! Little Taipei on the east bank of the Flushtown Creek. Le Rive Taipei as the French might say. And the 7 line runs through it.

Because they are developers, thats how.
The Skyview complex actually violated some of the FAA clearances for LGA, but everyone went "we dont want to piss of the asians, let them keep the height"
