Would all NYC politicians please stop using the word "Diversity"? It's meaningless. Every city, town, and state is diverse. But then again, we know the real reason the D word is tossed around by politicians, don't we?
Oh Costa, why did you include a shot of a graffiti covered Greek club in your video as something positive? --- Because by the warped standards of Astoria this and the values it stands for as well as the attitudes it represents is something to be held in high esteem.
Every great city needs its inbred Appalachian backwater.
There's that Diversity word again. Hmmmm. What cout it REALLY mean? I guess we should ask the hundreds of thousands of white middle class who fled Queens over the last 20 years.
Astoria is a Greek colony just like Flushing is an Chinese colony. There is nothing diverse about either one. That word is always bantered around to make one look like a liberal instead of a Queens red neck. Too bad that we didn't not use Archie Bunker as our spokesman for the borough. Get that guy from King of Queens to promote tourism. He looks cute in those short pants.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. Because perhaps the Boss gave him the assignment of harvesting 'donations' from that community.
When you talk to him he always wants to do something with Greeks.
Next question.

Diversity, blah, blah, diversity, diversity, blah, blah, diversity, blah, blah...
Oh, and did we mention our diversity?
Nice he included 'Steinway' in the communities he serves after stabbing the Friends of Steinway in the back.
