Perhaps the outrage should instead be redirected toward the mayor, speaker, city council and president, who are hell bent on making it easier for Trinitarios, Latin Kings and MS-13 to stay in the country.
From the Observer:
Local Councilman Daniel Dromm was the first elected official to arrive, and spoke to the crowd in Spanish. He praised the president’s action on the issue over the resistance of the Republican-controlled Congress, but said that it was necessary to provide full amnesty to all of the foreign nationals living in the country.
And who's paying? We are, of course:
Millions of undocumented immigrants will be able to apply for deportation relief and work authorization in just a matter of months under executive action announced by President Obama this week. In many cases, that relief will also come in the form of other benefits, like health care and educational opportunities -- but the extent of those benefits will depend largely on the state in which they live.
Precise details of the new program for undocumented parents of U.S. citizens and legal permanent residents are still unclear. But it will most likely be modeled after the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, which has garnered around nearly 600,000 beneficiaries since its launch two years ago and will be expanded to cover even more young immigrants under Obama’s executive action. On the whole, DACA recipients have been able to earn more money, drive, open bank accounts, build credit and go to college, but their experiences vary greatly by state. That will likely also be the case for the new group of protected immigrants.
...a handful of states -- California, New York, Massachusetts, Washington and Minnesota -- offer coverage for low-income deferred-action immigrants through state-based funding.
And if you can't get your kid into his or her preferred school, this may be why:
New York has sent a warning to its schools: Expect more illegal immigrants.Congratulations, suckers! Now please go back to being outraged by guys in suits making funny hand gestures. But before you do, read this Op-Ed, which pretty much sums it up:
The city Department of Education has told principals it plans this year to enroll 2,350 migrant children from Central America who crossed into the United States unaccompanied — with many more to come.
“It is expected that children will continue to arrive in large numbers in the coming years,” says a DOE memo to principals obtained by The Post.
The notice comes as the city rolls out a $50 million red carpet for 1,662 minors who crossed the border this summer to escape violence and gangs in Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador.
In the “surge,” 5,000 of the 63,000 migrant kids caught trying to cross US borders — or who turned themselves in for refuge — have been released to relatives or other “sponsors” in New York state.
Most live with other illegal immigrants.
In the city, Queens has received the highest number of unaccompanied children, 732, followed by Brooklyn (434), The Bronx (433), Manhattan (63) and Staten Island (less than 50), federal reports show.
The recent arrivals join an estimated 350,000 children of illegal immigrants already in New York state — about 12 percent of the public-school population.
The DOE refused to discuss the exact numbers of recently enrolled children, claiming it would violate student privacy. Officials ignored questions about the cost.
Illegal immigration is not up for ethical debate. It shows contempt for the law. It insults legal immigrants, including yours truly. It enables feeble politicians to score empty political points. It also emotionally blackmails American taxpayers into laying out the red carpet and footing the bill for any old riffraff.
America was built on the backs of legal immigrants who endured a strict federal vetting process, resisted welfare, and toiled to assimilate. The illegal human rivers pouring into the open southern border — 290,000 in the past year alone to join the 11 million already here — are burdensome, walking diseases in comparison. Crafty and dishonest, too, for knowing how to play the system and exploit legal loopholes. Most do not show up for their court date after being released on their own recognizance, while adults brazenly enroll as kids in public schools, somehow knowing school districts are federally mandated not to verify their ages.
Criminal aliens are America’s sordid secret. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has records on more than five million of them, while murderers, sex fiends, drug dealers, and kidnappers were among the 2,200 prisoners released from immigration jails last year in a federal cost-cutting measure.
Illegal immigration is a migraine, and its minions should be required to pay an amnesty loan if granted a reprieve. A sealed border, a constitutional amendment denying citizenship to anchor babies, and a national commitment to upholding the law would also go a long way in relieving the preposterous problem.

Hideous behavior!
The key is the "anchor baby" issue. End that and the boiling pot simmers down.
Remember this when you are on a crowded subway, stuck in traffic, have the politicians tell you they have no money for the things you are interested in or need, pay outrageous rent, and your pay stays flat or declines.
This is what happens when you have to compete for fixed resources with a, for all intents and purposes, infinite demand.
But boy oh boy Democratic machine hacks of now have plenty to do with all the programs for immigrants paid for from taking food from your family's table.
Thanks Democratic Machine.
I think of these thing as your cohorts arrogantly flounce around our community taking advantage of support from addled seniors and the mindless Stepford youth.
The city is done. Its time to leave.
Overcrowded schools, overcrowded apartments, overcrowded hospitals, overcrowded subways, overcrowded roads. Does anyone see a theme here? It defies logic that we are welcoming millions of more people into the country when we do not have the infrastructure to handle them (and in NYC we do not have the physical space). One can only conclude that the sole purpose is to create a servant class. This must be the goal of our politicians. Do not bemoan the shrinking middle class when you put the same assholes into office year after year. Just take your pay cut and get a second job at the service industry of your choice (or do nothing and go on the dole at one of the ever increasing homeless warehouses our city wants to build).

NO MY FRIEND, THE DEMOCRATIC MACHINE IS DONE. THEY HAD BETTER LEAVE. ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THE PUBLIC FINDS ITS VOICE. THEN THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY.
And they're cranking out more kiddies every day. You never see a young latino couple without 4 kids under 8 years old, or three kids and a baby bump. I'm fed up.
Three constituencies benefit:
1. The Democrats expect these illegals-made-legal to be solidly Democratic voters.
2. The massive welfare/public assistance bureaucracy wants the money and power from enrolling additional millions to programs that will make them permanent members of the dependency class.
3. The employers of the low-end of the labor market want a reliable supply of people willing to work close to the min. wage.
"NO MY FRIEND, THE DEMOCRATIC MACHINE IS DONE. THEY HAD BETTER LEAVE. ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE THE PUBLIC FINDS ITS VOICE. THEN THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY".
I would love to see that, however the people have had 6 years to find their voice and have yet to do so. Winning Congress doesnt mean anything if they're just as bought and paid for by the same corporations who stand to benefit the most by the increase in cheap labor. And considering the demographic shift this country is taking I dont think our voice will ever count again anyway. All the real Americans who fought or worked for this country to be what it was are dying off and the younger ones are too indoctrinated into hipster, liberal agenda to even care. The few that do are too bogged down by student loans and rising costs of living to be effective. Unfortunately I also think it's time to leave. Even if the people did find their voice and this country could be saved I don't think it's worth saving anymore. I'm not going to fight so some anchor baby can have an easier time in school while my parents had to work to pay for mine. Let them have it, they're bound to destroy themselves anyway.
The final nail in the coffin. Not sure where to go, Queens is done.
Sad day for all of the legal citizenry of the once great borough of Queens.
As soon as the democrats have the numbers they will whip the cleptocracy into a frenzy insisting that the people vote to bankrupt the pensions of the uniformed services to pay for their benefits so the politicians can be innocent and blame the people, 3 large cities in California have already pulled it off.
Ben Franklin said:
"When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic."
Wow, are you people angry and poorly informed.
Crowd seems pretty informed to me.
I always marvel at the democratic leftists telling me I am a racist, uninformed, stupid, a moron, and an idiot for recognizing the filet mignon I used to eat is now a crust turd feces.
to hear truth a patriot must search the Congressional Record on the Senate Immigration debate of 11/20/14, read: Sen .John Cornyn and Sen. Ted Cruz. Cruz equates the Obama admin. to that of CICERO.the word "madness" is stated?????
the NYC Council is giving the tax revenues away to serve Obama"s so-called "madness"
so what can be said for the once proud dem. party now occupied by the CPUSA "QUISLINGS"

Wow, are you people angry and poorly informed. You bet we're angry, why don't you enlighten us with your version of the truth .
Anon No. 15: You do know that most of the guys in the CPUSA were FBI Agents working undercover, right?

AND GO WHERE? DOWN SOUTH WHERE THE REPUBLICANS WANT TO GO BACK TO THE 50s - THE 1850s?
BLOGS LIKE THIS WILL SPELL THE DEATH KNELL FOR THE MACHINE - WHEN CITIZENS CAN GAIN INFO UNFETTERED BY THE PARTY BOSSES AND DISCUSS WITH EACH OTHER OPENS UP AN AVENUE THAT CROWLEY AND GIANARIS AND ALL THEIR CLUBHOUSE CRONIES CANNOT CONTROL.
EVERYONE KNOWS THEY ARE FULL OF CRAP AND THEY ONLY CARE TO LINE THEIR POCKETS. THEIR CONTROL MAY BE ABSOLUTE BUT IT IS FRAGILE. IT WILL NOT TAKE TOO MUCH FOR THEM TO FALL THROUGH THE ICE.
BESIDES, MOST OF THEM ARE NOT TOO BIGHT. THEIR COLLAPSE WILL BE SUDDEN AS IT WILL BE COMPLETE.
AND I HAVE EVERY INTENTION OF HELPING IT ALONG AND BEING THERE WHEN IT HAPPENS.

Good luck with that. As I stated before, I totally agree with the logic behind your intention and would love to see that happen, but the reality is that it's not going to change. History has proven that time and time again. As the city and the country overall continues to welcome these over-night citizens those in power will have to cater to them wether they really want to or not because they need their votes to stay in power. So yes, the south does seem like a very good alternative because at least there we have a demographic advantage and the law respects the second amendment. You're free to hold your breath and wait for NY to respect the constitution but remember that Harlem and the Bronx were once mostly white too. The last of the folks who tried to fight off the new "vibrant and diverse" communities coming in had to end up selling their property at pennies on the dollar or giving it up to the banks all the while risking their lives just being there because no decent person wanted to live in those places anymore. How many more child molesters, kidnappers, drug dealers and thugs have to move in before we realize NYC is done for? In the south or the midwest we have a greater chance at standing together and fighting to make this country great again. Our votes and our rights count and mean something there. If we are going to fight, standing together is the best way to do it.
Someone who posts here should get his ass out of the clubhouse and back into the real world, but then, again, we have pretty much established the political class is thankfully not too bright.
The fact of the matter is the if you talked to people in places like Harlem or the Bronx, they will tell you its a matter of time before those areas become white.
As to the South, unless you are some addled senior living in a golf community and think decorating your golf cart for July 4 is the high point of the social season, it is commonly regarded as having the poorest social network, from schools to hospitals, in the industrial world.
As to the immigrants, most I know are too smart to remain as wards of the party. Their kids dream of another world with good schools and backyards, not being patronized by some sleaze-ball that wants to keep them dependent and needy. If they had wanted that they would have stayed in their own countries.
No, the party hacks are stuck running faster and faster on a smaller and smaller base getting more arrogant as they get increasingly out of touch.
A system that made sense when Andrew Jackson or U S Grant was president increasingly is becoming a hollow anachronism that serves the needs of those involved and little else.
Their greatest fear is that people will start to talk to each other and form their own opinions. One day in the not too distant future, critical mass will be achieved. Honest Joe Crowley and his ilk will be as relevant as Roman Senate after their city was sacked by the players of the future world stage. That body still met, and passed legislation, but the city they ruled was empty with flocks of bovines munching the grass in what was once the Forum.
But when you think about it, water does find its level: the typical politician I know is not really fit to rule over much more than a cow pasture.
