Warren Schreiber is not only the president of Bay Terrace, but he's also an employee of Paul Vallone and endorsed and is actively campaigning for John Liu.
I'm sure this candidates' night will be totally fair and unbiased.
Gianaris, Costa, and Simotas did not have time for the Steinway Mansion, a place that could have helped spark a revitalization and learning center for youth.
But they did have time for a John Liu rally in Astoria.
Warren is a gentleman and a class act, always. Regardless of his personal affiliation, he can endorse whome he wants to. In the past, he has endorsed candidates whom have attended his debates, never once did I notice anything unfair or biased towards anyone.
Anyone who would endorse or vote for the likes of John Liu over a dedicated and honest politician like Tony Avella should not be president of anything. Warren is NO class act.
I was present at the Primary debate for Council District 19 (Bayside, Douglaston, Whitestone, etc.) last year at Bay Terrace which Warren Schrieber's group sponsored.
It was very clear that he lobbed softball questions to Paul Vallone and very difficult ones to the other candidates (Graziano, Shafran, etc.).
Warren has been a hangers-on for decades, desperately trying to get some political juice for himself by kissing up to the Queens Machine. It shows in his actions and who he's spending time with.
I would expect a very biased candidate's night with John Liu / Tony Avella simply based on that and seeing what's already happened in the past.
Word on the street it's that Warren is kissing machine butt to get a district leader position. However, Evan Stavisky filed for district leader in Warren's district. How long before Warren returns to the civic fold?
Of course, Evan Stavisky-- ex-Chief of Staff to former Assemblyman Brian McLaughlin who is still in prison for the millions he stole while Stavisky was his political fixer and top "advisor"-- is a lobbyist who lives in Rockland County with his wife and simply hangs onto an empty co-op in the District to enable him to claim residency. Slime is slime, and Stavisky is covered in it.
The person who replied to my post is likely Warren Schreiber. If Paul Vallone isn't paying Warren officially, then he is doing it under the table. I know for a fact that Warren doesn't pay any dues for the political groups that he is in.
Warren did not make the train he only rides it. His hard work for his community needs the politicians like it or not. Again ethics and reforms for all politicians is what needed.

He has also endorsed Toby.
And David Weprin is not only the Hairclub President, he's also a client.

Warren Schreiber has ALWAYS BEEN a machine ass kisser
Evan Stavisky filed for district leader
Yes, someone came to my door with a petition a few weeks ago with Evan Stavisky running for district leader.
The reason why Warren works for Paul Vallone is because he's in retirement and his social security is not enough for him.
Warren is the president of co-op apartment he lives in and he handles the check book. No one ever questioned him where does the money go.
Warren takes me out to nice dinners with the money Paul Vallone gives him. That is all I care about.

You moron, those are unpaid positions, nothing more than a representative position. Stop spreading lies you goon
Paid or not, this is a conflict of interest for both Schreiber and O'Connor. It's meant to keep the community in line.

Some of those signs should have been checked for spelling.

Hey cut Warren some slack, he's a nice guy...yeah he has his fingers in some pretty sad pies, but he's a decent fellow.
While the man does do a lot of good, his endorsement of the machine, allowing it to continue its stranglehold on the borough, is unforgivable.
Shame on Warren he clearly has the democratic machine's interest in his heart, not that of the people of Bay Terrace.
Thanks for the heads up Crappie, that is one debate I will not attend.
Wow. Avella must have pissed off Warren.
No warren pissed off Avella
