Looks like nothing is safe from the forces of gentrification! Vixen on Metropolitan Avenue just west of Eliot Ave appears to be for sale as a development site.
It's been there for decades, predating the zoning code change that required all new strip joints to be located in manufacturing districts.
What comes next? Stay tuned.

Looks like the Greenpoint and
Bushwick area are getting too pricey. Re-development marches on and up into Ridgewood and Maspeth.
On and off (pardon the pun) this place has been a strip joint for years. They once tried to have an outdoor café in the front yard.
Hmm...all this time, I thought the place was full of tigers and giraffes...
This place has always been a shady operation. It was a sleazy pick up joint for vets after WWII and then a bucket of blood bar.
A couple of decades ago it was occupied by a semi-sports bar that was rife with gambling.
It is one place that will not be missed.
That sign looks faded. Sure its new?
Why don't you call and find out? I certainly haven't seen it before and I pass through there frequently.
Let's not forget this...
At one time it was a rock & roll club with live music. I believe it was called Mickey's. Guessing early 70's.
What'd I tell you, bucket of blood.
Maybe they could park the 2 magic buses there and offer an enchanting experience for HIPSTERS!
