Ridgewood is nowhere near what it's hyped to be

Hey folks, the latest neighborhood profile of Ridgewood comes courtesy of the Daily News, and it's a doozy. Have fun picking out all the mistakes. You can start with this paragraph:

Retail strips are less charming than the townhouse blocks. But Myrtle, Fresh Pond and Seneca Aves., the neighborhood’s main commercial thoroughfares, offer popular destinations including Ridgewood Eats and Mafera Park. Residents seeking more leisure options or a quick work commute can get to Midtown in a half hour on the M train or take the L train to Union Square. And the new breed of scruffy, tattooed residents displaced from Bushwick can quickly dive back into that scene with a short walk.

This could be more entertaining than the Easter egg hunt going on right now!

What bullshit yes its FARMARS OVAL and with all the cheap shopping and junk stores, mommy & daddy paying the rent you would think these slob hipsters could afford some razor blades.
It aint gonna last long, all these jackasses want to do is personal art & music and that's not going to pay the bills when mommy and daddy go bust.
These days all the **paying** company's like Disney Warner Music Group, EMI, Sony, Universal etc create and BUILD there own artists based on demographics & marketing potential. Artists are no longer "discovered" why cant these hipsters figure this out are people really that stupid out in Iowa, Ohio, Michigan etc ?

Farmers oval ...go there after dak and see what goes on in the back against the m tracks. Then go back in the morning and see the mess. They used to leave a few lights on to discourage the night time antics .

Where do these people even come from that they look at Ridgewood (or most of Brooklyn) and WANT to live there? Even if there were trendy coffee shops or something, it's quite urban and not in a Madison Ave way. Go back to Madison!

"see what goes on in the back against the m tracks"

Back in the day the Boogiemen had a small clubhouse "The Greenhouse" inside one of the Conrail tool sheds. Those guys had trash can's and never left a attention drawing mess.
Caught countless graffiti vandals giving them the choice of get the shit beat out of them or empty there own cans of paint themselves, face hands hair and all !!
Another "Clubhouse" was along the Decatur street ROW

Now nobody gives a shit !!
