"This realtor is destroying Northeastern Queens, one crap sale after another. I spotted this for sale yesterday. Just the land around this gorgeous house in Whitestone." - Anonymous

Northeast Queens is just becoming an overcrowded third world country. Some Asian will probably buy this lot and put up something ugly and useless.
Almost all the houses in Queens are old and rotten. You can do a gut renovation but why when a total renovation is not much more?
I've moved from house to house in many parts of Queens and you couldn't pay me enough to accept a house as-is with extensive repairs and renovations off the table.
Judy does it again and again...which is destroying our beautiful NE Queens. She sells and promotes teardowns like this beautiful house and property in Whitestone. She is a greedy little troll. Her real estate is notorious for selling houses to people overseas who arent citizens or don't live here. They buy these homes cash and Judy keeps cashing in. Why do you think her houses sell so quick. She isnt selling to hardworking families in America/NYC who want to live here and maybe don't have all cash for these houses. That is pure greed. Also at fault is the selli g their homes, c'mon go to a small real estate in your community who lives in the community and loves it. Fine you want to sell your house but don't ruin the community for it because karma will come back to you and you wouldnt like to see that happen in whatever new community you are moving to. Boycott Judy and her shady real estate practices.
A total renovation is fine as long as it meets all local building codes and zoning laws. Unfortunately greedy developers take advantage of outdated codes or just choose to pay the small fines when caught building illegal third world crap. Warehouses for the working poor will keep spreading like a locust invasion.
What a beautiful classic Colonial home! Beautiful grounds and still has much more potential to be in it's full glory. Shame on Judy and shame on the owners of this home. Northeast Queens and many parts of Queens has beautiful old homes that need TLC or some vision to restore them. These homes should be cherished that we still have them in NYC. I'm sure Nicole Curtis:Rehab Addict would have a field day restoring a lot of these unique old homes in NE Queens!!! She would then show people it's possible and rewarding to have such a home. If you're not familiar with her, here is her website and you can look at her amazing work for inspiration. http://www.nicolecurtisdesign.com/
Looks like you tried warning us in 2011 Crappy about Judy Markowitz. I found this posting from Queens Crap in 2011 when Judy worked for Remax Realty. People need to be aware of the destruction trail this one lady is causing in this community. Stop her and any other realtor who support teardowns, illegals, cash only deals and other shady practices.
Here's another one of Judy's notorious destruction sales. http://www.timesledger.com/stories/2013/31/grazianopresser_ne_2013_08_02_q.html
Yupp Judy sold this home. Here is her listing, so you can see how beautiful this home was. http://energizedrealtygroup.com/default.asp?f=listing_details&listingid=308319&listingtype=1
Wonder if the owner was an illegal, either way the class of people she sells these homes to think they are exempt from following laws. Either way she is selling homes to people who don't care about the history or value these neighborhoods. She just wants to see all cash. I know homes who are selling for more than this one and are crap. this shouldn't have been knocked down, The same goes for this beautiful one selling in Whitestone above in this posting.
What a liar! R2A is for single family homes only. See this from NYC website: R2A is a contextual district intended to preserve low-rise neighborhoods characterized by single-family detached homes on lots with a minimum width of 40 feet.
The reality is no one wants to buy (and live in) a 1920s-1930s home like this anymore, that MAYBE had an upgrade or minor rennovation in the 60s or 70s (or at worst has had no care or been neglected). Period. The world has moved on.
Yes, that's why landmark turn of the century houses have higher home values and buyers that seek them out. I bought one myself and did the reno. You're full of crap.
I am looking for a house in Flushing North/Auburndale precisely because I want to live in a 1920's-1930s home in a tree-lined neighborhood. I've actually been to Judy's office and basically been ignored, despite high income. Probably because like most normal people my age, I don't have a suitcase with $700k in cash. I still love the area though.
Please don't be discouraged to come to Flushing North or Auburndale or anywhere in NE Queens. I myself have been looking at I don't have a suitcase full of money. There is a lot of smaller real estate offices in this area willing and wanting to help you. Call Carol Vigorito located in Bayside/N Flushing border from Keller Williams Realty. She's genuine and lives local. Office # 718-475-2700. I will do anything I can to help this area, hope the info helps!
"$700k in cash" You need a bigger suitcase. You will get outbid by the Korean man you drives up and down every block in a Lexus RX300. He will ask anyone that will listen "What do you want for your house". I see him two to three times a week in North Flushing.
A lot of these stories about "a suitcase full of cash" are just that....stories....total BS! It's a fright tactic employed by those who want to block bust..."Get out now before the area turns".
NE Queens, low density zoned, ain't goin' down despite the plot of overweight Judy Markowitz...though a visit to Lucille Roberts might improve her looks.
Try an experiment. Do you want to call the bluff of an Asian promising to pay cash for your home? Ask for the closing to be in 2 days in your lawyer's office. Poof! "No, too soon". The reality is "too soon" means I have to shop for a mortgage.
I don't discount that there might have been a few cash sales, but that is usually a rarity.
There was once a sale at Tiffany's...where a woman dumped a shopping bag full of cash on their counter...to buy a huge diamond ring.
It's funny how legendary tall tales have a way of becoming the norm when spread around the block a few times.
A school buddy of mine in his fifties can't breathe because in the 60s and 70s he grew up in a hous elike that. That old plaster was one third asbestos, and trucks rumbling by released it into the air.
An old wives tale...old plaster does not contain asbestos. your friends breathing condition is asthma caused by something else...partially hereditary too!
Does anybody remember the Hummer plastered with Jkudys ads parked in her driveway? Also check out the ad bench she has in front of Waldbaums on Franny Lew. What a low class bitch!
As much as we want to blame the realtor, lets not leave the property owner out of this either. They are the ones who take the money and run. I saw this happen plenty of times in Middle Village.

She's horrible and greedy.
She's a terrible realtor. I've known several people that had to fire her for lying.
Boycott Judy!!!

141-07 14th Avenue....
typical real estate predator
Judy "will" do it again !
That's screw you and your neighborhood.

That low class Russkie slut has a home in Connecticut so WTF does she care about NE Queens?
Judy ran an ad years back...which pictured her big bellied with child. The slogan, as I recall was, "Judy delivers"!
There is no low down depth that this pudgy troll will not stoop to.

"There is no low down depth that this pudgy troll will not stoop to."
She also uses her child as an advertising prop which, as far as I am concerned, is a form of child abuse.
And she is not the only one. One of the real estate Folan sister's did the same.

I gave fleeting thought to selling our vintage home in Broadway North and moving to LIC.
No thanks!
The reality is that this fine R1-2A zoned neighborhood offers great schools and easy transportation to Manhattan.
LIC is being bulldozed faster than Northeast Queens.
Of course it's a tear down. Just look at the photo.
Here's an under built structure sitting on an oversized property. It doesn't look like a 40'X100' lot.
You can expect any house this size sitting on a big property to be razed.
A school buddy of mine in his fifties can't breathe because in the 60s and 70s he grew up in a hous elike that. That old plaster was one third asbestos, and trucks rumbling by released it into the air.
And that has absolutely nothing to do with this story.
An old wives tale...old plaster does not contain asbestos. your friends breathing condition is asthma caused by something else...partially hereditary too!
Sounds like a few Asian real estate trolls are posting besides Judy the slut and her friends.
