if anything,because of the new makeup of these parts of towns,every chain mall store(gap,starbucks,friggin cold stone)have opened up there.if there is something to be nostalgic about,its the fact there are no local resident businesses there anymore.
Check the numbers, Howard Beach in total is 77% white and 17% Hispanic. The Lindenwood part of Howard Beach where the swim club was is 63% white and 27% Hispanic.

That's when Queens was nice. Now we have third world trash all living here. Those days are long gone.
White people use 3rd worlders/uncivilized people as new age slave labor and complain when you get all that comes with these people.
