Cars parking on sidewalks is the latest problem in Jamaica

To: Melinda Katz and Leroy Comrie, et al:

"Dr. Auto is causing pain for residents in broad daylight. Parking on our sidewalk, has become a walk of life for Dr. Auto chop shop, but residents have no space to walk.

Complaints to the Borough Presidents office have resulted once again in "their right to remain silent." Voters have not seen any change in ridding us from unscrupulous chop shops.

Moreover, this chop shop located on Merrick Boulevard between 108 & 109 avenue is in violation of the law. Sometimes residents have to walk into the street or dodge incoming cars to avoid danger.

Melinda Katz, B/P although, team P/J has done all the ground work for you and other salaried leaders; you have not enforced laws to start cleaning-up Jamaica.

We will not wait, if you believe that we are not serious, keep tuned. We are tired of games, time is overdue.

Footnote.

Bathroom Gate
Broken side walks
Filthy streets
Mold laden trestle
High grass
Amistad Daycare
Abandoned parks

We did not start with the other category of discrimination yet. You have no one to blame but your corrupt predecessors.

Have this fleet of vehicles removed from our sidewalk." - Pamela Hazel

Our elected officials are clearing ignoring their constituents.

Shame on them.

I once had to help a frustrated blind man walking in between such parked cars and it was a busy street he was trying to avoid walking into. How sad this is continuing to happen and nothing put into law against it. Unfortunately when I saw a police officer to complain I was referred to 311. Sidewalks are public space for pedestrians to walk on not these corrupt businesses to park cars.

Another big major quality of life issue that the Jamaica leaders have totally ignored. This is not like Willets Point where nothing is around it. Merrick Boulevard has other businesses, churches, residential housing around it and many people walk these sidewalks getting to buses and other places.

Not only is this a major eyesore, but sidewalks are blocked for people walking, sidewalks have become destroyed, chemical fluids from vehicles are all over the sidewalks and streets making a health and environmental issue and I am sure if this was thoroughly investigated, one will find some extremely shady dealings with most of the auto body shops along Merrick Blvd.

Trashy people are everywhere, I live in North Flushing on the border of Flushing-Whitestone and my inmediate neighbors block my driveway and the whole sidewalk most of the time. Being 10 minutes or a whole hour, if there's parking next to the driveway don't be so lazy and park accordingly, even if there isn't inmediate parking walk your ass down the block and don't block pedestrian traffice, never ever!!

Get in touch with the people who clearly didn't care about this and other problems in Queens? And knowing this voters put them in again

You might still have a chance getting their attention if you unite and then 1) flood Queens Borough Hall with calls and 2) picket Borough Hall and make sure Mainstream Press is there.

It’s only Jamaica who cares !!
99% of that urban shambles is made up of perpetual slobs who are so acclimatize to feral lawless living they can not be helped no matter how much tax dollars are thrown into that toilet.

Was this angry white Italian guy on the TV news a wile back trying to get NYC to clean up Jamaica. Sadly that’s never going to happen when you live amongst wild animals that refuse to be domesticated.
The city known this for 40+ years!!
The Dutch tried to cleanup St.Croix USVI for 200+ years, and continue in the slums of Aruba where rats still run wild and everything else dirty --nope cant happen impossible !!

No one is saying throw more tax dollars into Jamaica. Enforcement of laws is the issue.

Great attitude............who cares! Well some of us do.

To Joe M

All those young coloreds in Jamaica should start taking some pride in themselves and create some good old “conduct enforcement” New York neighborhoods "WERE" once famous for. –put some of that ‘street energy” to good use.
You’re crooked elected aren’t gonna do squat the quicker all the "well intended" GET this through there dense heads the better. That fact will never change in your lifetimes.
Quit relying on NYCs crooked politicians to do the jobs they were elected to do. When did criminals and racketeers like Katz, the Crowley’s, deBlasio's and that baldie mob from Whitestone decide start following the law and representing the little people ?
Too add ITS INNER QUEENS not Manhattan and only going to get worse unless people stop depending on snakes and rats!!

In the end snakes and rats can only behave as snakes and rats so you’re on your own!!! If the problems in the gutter, some rock-house, sidewalk (or sewer) perhaps that where you need to be taking the action.
Baseball season & summer coming.

The electeds are useless on this sort of thing - the offenders are likely as not related to the people perpetrating the assault. My son is in a wheelchair, and I fear for his life when he has to go into the street because he can't use the sidewalk! A car dealership in front parks cars on the sidewalk - I was waiting for the bus when he started honking at me to move out of the way so he could park! and started cursing at me when I pointed out it's a bus stop. Elected are useless. HOWEVER we just got a new police precinct - they're looking to make an impact, and after hearing from us at a community council meeting they started - ready? ISSUING TICKETS!

The elected leaders are only useless if they choose to be useless, which many of them do. But actually they can throw their weight behind many of these issues and actually make a difference, just many of them choose not to.

I mean if elected leaders cannot do anything in a community, why even bother having them.

just have your keys out as you walk by. They will get the message.

"got a new police precinct - they're looking to make an impact"

Hahahaha MEANINGLESS
The **appointed** captains may "WANT TO" but Bratton & diBlasio will muzzle all the teeth !!
Prosecuting 1000 or more extra non felony nuisances will cost the Queens courts, DA's and PD too much money and the plaintiffs have nothing to take.
DWIs, drug busts and traffic camera targeted at working class white people is where the $$ is.

FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL will you DUMB SHEEP GET IT THROUGH THOSE THICK F^$%#ING HEADS YOUR ON YOUR OWN !
Anything you may told by some 'official" PR hack is just bullshit to keep you quiet & subservient !!

For example look how that woman Crowley played them trusting "Christian" Maspeth people like fiddles.
Being nice gets you NOWHERE when your dealing with bamboozler's only pout to "say what you want to hear" to keep you off track and thinking for yourselves.

"we got a new police precinct"
Again Hahaha ---For once grow some balls, common sense and stop behaving like trained pasture sheep!!!
