From WyckoffHeights.org:
Essex Capital Partners has engaged KSQ Architects to design a new seven-story residential building at 16-26 Madison Street in Ridgewood, near the border with Bushwick and two blocks from the L and M trains at Myrtle-Wyckoff.
Demolition applications have been filed for the two warehouses currently on the site (one a former post office), and DOB records show the new 63,000 SF building will have 90 dwelling units and 45 parking spaces.

So sad...that small building will have a lot more character than the tall pile of crap they are going to build. NYC esp. Queens will never see that type of archicture again. More mindless crape building built everyday from talentless people.
I was definitely born in the wrong era, my artistic soul can't stand what is being built today in this city.
You are not alone.
Why can't these assholes leave the beautiful facades?
NYC is becoming more generic-looking with each passing day.
The kids and their parents are dumbed-down and smug and the view is ugly.
will this be used for affordable apts. as hizzoner repeatedly promised yesterday
I...won't...wait
Here's some of their work...

"Why can't these assholes leave the beautiful facades"
--------------------------
Because it represents American heritage. Something assholes form foreign lands have always loathed and been hatefully jealous of . Especially Persians, Asians and Bukharan's.
Now thanks to our deceitful politicians all any foreigner needs is $500,000 cash and they can jump the line, come here, construct and be entitled to services for the whole family.
New York City (Queens) has turn into a corrupt deceptive free for all. This cancer is going to spread like wildfire under DeBlasio's progressive agenda.
BTW: Long island and the rest of NY will not be spared if DeBlasio gives all the illegal’s drivers licenses. (most of them drunks who will never pay there insurance and continue to hit and run with Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Delaware plates)

so instead of pointlessly bitching about this get your neighbors together and go after the community board and electeds.
no, the neighbors don't care?
well as the robber barons used to say, 'what are you going to do about it?'
The problem is there is no master plan for infrastructure.
The developer would never to this if they were assessed the environmental and infrastructure impact.
The only way to get others involved to stop this bullshit is to convince them that their services are shitty (a no brainer) because their taxes are going to the benefit this developer who does not even live in the area.
So the sewers, water lines, and power service can handle the extra 90 units no problem????

Does not matter if they could or could not.
Like in Vallonia a few years back when the power grid was overloaded and stripped of upgrades to cover waterfront development, Vallone said it was Con Ed's fault.
And since, in Queens, your councilman sh*ts gold bricks he is always right and everyone believes him.
