Is there a gate with a lock for the parking lot ? I could not tell from video. Comrue should get one to keep out the illegal dumpers Good piece!
Yes, there is a gate and the day I filmed this, the gate was opened wide with the lock just hanging. But after this aired, the next day someone went there to close and lock the gate.
Common sense, something that does not prevail in my community.
Most communities would look like this without regular sanitation.
Jamaica is short changed.
Well we know where funding is cut from to support the millions needed for waterfront development
- or to cover the hole from the tax breaks for waterfront development.
I think in every community - if you look around - you can find similar problems that stem from those reasons.
Its a zero sum game people!

All of Queens is short-changed. Jamaica no more so than other areas. The difference is, other parts of the borough know how to clean up after themselves.
Joe, You walk around the parking lot on a Saturday afternoon. I'm sure you get a big salary for this . . . not. What does Comrie do on Saturday afternoons? Wipe his big fat ass with a duvet and count his big buck salary? Def. And he's going to be in Katz's administration?
