This was posted on Facebook 15 minutes ago. Apparently, Mr. Halloran is endorsing his poker buddy Paul Vallone. He feels that "as a kindred spirit" Paul Vallone will be the best person to fill his shoes after he goes away for a long, long time.

Dan "Family Values" Halloran thinks Paul Vallone is the best man for the job. Well isn't that interesting?
I think the fact that DeBlasio and Cuomo had to endorse Vallone - and that they had to turn to Giuliani for help as well - shows how scared Vallone is of losing. Ditto as to why he wouldn't debate Saffran this past Sunday. Confident candidates don't need other people to say how great they are.
