From Bayside Patch:
Demolition has begun at the former Scobee Diner site along Northern Boulevard in Little Neck.
Susan Seinfeld, district manager for Community Board 11, said demolition crews were scheduled to begin taking down the building this week at the site of the popular diner, which closed in 2010.
Plans for the Scobee locale include a two-story structure with a bank on the first floor and a dentist's office on the second floor.

Probably another TD Bank. They like eliminating diners.
Banks and chain drug stores...who else can afford the exorbitant rents?
Probably some asian thing will move in there. All these places along Northern Boulevard are being taken over by asians.
I had read that it was going to be a Citi branch.
Citi has been closing branches, not opening them.
Haven't we reached saturation yet for Duane Reade/Rite Aid/CVS stores, even in Little Neck?
We pay all this money to live in NYC yet there is little to no variety of nice culture outside Manhattan. Might as well live in any town for less cost of living.
Considering all the recent bad news Queens will need more Duane Reade/Rite Aid/CVS to dispense all the antidepressants people are going to need.

Scobee doobie doo!
It's that former CIA director's family who ruined it.
