Guy lives in converted dumpster

From Huffington Post:

Normally, you wouldn't think of a trash receptacle as a viable living space, but if you ask Gregory Kloehn he'd disagree. Featured On HGTV's "You Live In What?," when this West coast resident visits New York, he stays in his Brooklyn home: A retrofitted commercial dumpster that he bought for $2,000.

Don't knock it. He's an urban Thoreau.

Does he have to pay property tax?

You can roast a pig in that on a hot summer day, Temps in those containers can exceed 200 degrees!

From were does he get the running water?

I can picture hundreds of these scattered around Flushing
or scattered throughout Flushing Meadows Corona Park
May alleviate the housing shortage.

5 more years of Obambam and FED money printing will make that dumpster a relative palace compared to what the rest of the NY City and the country will be living in.

A palace. Surely you jest.

So much for zoning! Jack Kemp was right, Zoning causes Homelessness.

What's to keep from his getting shanghaied and ending up with his home on a ship bound for china?

And if I sleep in my car, the cops knock on the window and write me a ticket

The future.
All these new "sanctuary city people" are having 4+ anchor baby's that will have no legal way of earning income.

2 out of 5 school children don't speak English in the household, don't have fathers supporting them, not interested in education behaving like animals in the classroom.
How the hell are these 3rd world brats going to support themselves, afford any kind housing as adults ????
All the factory's and products made in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island City are leaving.

Queens is gonna end up another Detroit...perhaps worst !! Let not forget all the "hipster" self titled artists and musicians--more future broke ass welfare brats because Liberal art educations are now useless !!!!

While his creative ability is evident, this mobile home has neither a certificate of occupancy nor a permit to block a public parking spot on a city street.

The cops can easily ticket him for taking up street space.

That's not a dumpster. It's "affordable housing".
Excuse me. I've got to take a dump!

We already got mobile classrooms. Why not these new age mobile homes? They're built better than one of those Tommy Huang specials.

I recall seeing old photos of those "Hooverville" shanties which sprang up in public parks during the Great Depression?

Don't blame the Democrats...though they've f----d up royally too.

These dumpster-homes are what you can expect to find after that renegade Republican Bush-whacker administration bled the country dry!

Deregulating the banks was the banana peel left on the sidewalk for the USA to slip on and break its neck.

When that jerk-wad Jimmy Carter went around building those Habitat For Humanity structures (which are falling apart) he should have looked into stacking dumpsters.

Creatively adapting these strong steel boxes saves us all some money.
Of course, the construction unions would have a bloody fit.

That ol' peanut farmer Carter was one of the worst Democrats in history. He couldn't even manage to rescue our hostages in Iran.

And he was too f-----g stubborn to hire Israel commandos to do the job that he couldn't manage.

Democrats, not Democracy, have gutted our nation.
