A silver dollar for someone who can prove that its the politicians who are stirring up the public against the utilities .... and away from them.
As was proven with LIPA, its under the state control. If I were their top brass, I would all quit and tell the customers that City Hall and Albany can take care of them.

Remember, a few years back, when Borough President Claire Shulman was promoting the virtues of living in "Arverne By The Sea"?
There apparently was an earlier Arverne that was wiped out by a storm about 100 years ago.
