From Brownstoner:
A reader sent in the photo above and says: “Looks like the lads working at 580 Carlton have located the soft corner of the formerly adjoining house. We’ll see what happens.” The collapsed building is 578 Carlton, the equally run-down brick home next door. $100,000 you say. This is Park Slope, where that is pocket change.
Except that it isn't Park Slope. Carlton Avenue is on the other side of Flatbush Avenue from Park Slope. This is in Prospect Heights or Fort Greene.
The news video is of Park Slope.
Some people ain't no damn good
You can't trust 'em, you can't love em
No good deed goes unpunished
And I don't mind being their whipping boy
I've had that pleasure for years and years
No, no I never was a sinner-tell me what else can I do
Second best is what you get-till you learn to bend this rules
Time respects no person-what you lift up must fall
They're waiting outside-to claim my crumblin' walls
