From the NY Post:
Mayor Bloomberg drew jeers from Brooklyn to Harlem during Martin Luther King Jr. Day events yesterday.
At the Brooklyn Academy of Music, where he was one of a dozen city elected leaders and politicians on hand, Bloomberg was greeted with cackles, groans and boos the moment he stepped on stage.
“Come on, time out,” an exasperated Bloomberg said as he tried to talk about his education policy.
“For those of you who want to express yourself, there’s a time and a place for everything. We’re here to honor a man who valued education,” he implored.
Bloomberg’s attempt to compare his record on education — boasting of higher graduation rates for minorities — to the priorities of the slain civil-rights leader only escalated the booing.
“Thank you, that’s very genteel,” he said, looking toward hecklers in the audience. “You probably belong in — never mind.”
That remark brought a stunned silence to the audience, before Bloomberg quickly wrapped up.

OK, I know why I don't like Bloomberg, I know why my fellow Queens Crapees don't like Bloomberg, but why don't THEY like Bloomberg? He has certainly pandered to them every chance he could.
Bloomberg would never hire most of today's high school graduates, not even to push a broom or clean a toilet. That is the level he has brought education down to.
THEY don't like Bloomberg because he has "pandered" to them. It is a form of psychological self-loathing.
@ Anonymous1 - The people who attend events at BAM are NOT the ones he helps. They are working class folks who are stuck in the neighborhoods where crime is up, foreclosures are up, drugs are up, education and transportation are down. They probably hate him the most.
bloomberg is an asshole , cant wait untill his term is up .

Let's not forget Mike's mini-me
IMPEACH the bastard!
Impeachment?
That inspires me to suggest a new a new ice cream flavor that "Ben & Jerry's" should consider making---
"M-m-m-m peach mint"!
That would be a great improvement over the "Sour Gloomberry" we've been stuck with!
I'll bet Bloomberg would like to see those upitty "schvartzas" all in jail!
Most Jews hate African Americans.
On MLK Day we pay homage to Dr. King.
The rest of the year America pisses on its Blacks until MLK Day arrives again!
Anon No. 9: Most Jews hate people who stereotype Jews.
An older Jewish lady:
"My schvartza is coming to clean on Wednesday so I can't make the mah jong game".
That's not stereotyping for
I've heard it many times!
Remember that The south Bronx was the burned out vacuum left by Jewish arsonist slum lords.
Then as soon as the darker faces started appearing in these formerly Jewish nabes near Southern B'lvd. etc...
the remaining resident Jews beat a path to Queens.
The wealthy ones fled to "Vestchester" county.
The board of trustees once dismissed an outspoken "Black" professor at Queens College for reminding his classes about the Jewish dislike for African Americans.
Yes, many Jews do give a lot of lip service about their "brotherhood" with African Americans (especially at public events)...having suffered similar discrimination and all...
but do you see them running to live next door to Black family with open arms very often?
I think that history has already proven that their is mutual distrust and dislike (to put it mildly) on both sides.
“Thank you, that’s very genteel,” he said, looking toward hecklers in the audience. “You probably belong in — never mind.”
That is something no public official should ever say in any situation.
"You probably belong in..."
Aye, there's the rub. Belong in WHERE?
"Wah, wah, wah....
why don't you love me?
Why can't we just all get along"?
If I were a multi-billionaire, I'd buy both houses that flank Bloomberg's and give them away to two poor Black families from Harlem.
Then let's see how long "Super Jew" will remain in his town house.
"Yo...mista mayor...can we borrow a cup of brown sugar"?
Hypocrisy and mendacity...Bloomberg's specialties!
