Inside a Bayside McMansion

Bayside Patch has a bunch of photos of a house for sale that's a little over the top. Check out the rest of the shots here.

No one can drink that much wine in a lifetime - not even with a liver made of iron.

Check out the photo of the Cherubs of the Sistine Madonna! Right over the king-size bed. Ah, just the thing to get into the mood for boomfing.

From the pics it doesn't look out of character. There is at least some space around it and that old barn in the last shot is probably as large.

The interior pics give a overstated impression of space due to the wide-angle lens. Typical R.E. trickery.

The only thing out of proportion is the tag. These days $1.6-$1.8 is more like it.

The outside doesn't look so bad, but man, the INSIDE? Can you say "lack of taste"

We're talking Bayside -not Fifth or Park avenues.

Very inefficient wine rack layout.

I think I stayed in that hotel once - or at least it had the same decorator.

This house is lame. The word wannabe comes to mind to describe those who built it. A sad attempt to build a house 1/15th the size of what you would commonly see in Beverly Hills or Alpine except those houses start at 4 million for just two acres of land and another 5 to 10 million for an average sized house.
