Where does Patti spend her time?

From the NY Post:

Deputy Mayor Patti Harris, Mayor Bloomberg’s closest aide, makes $246,000 a year overseeing a dozen city agencies, but City Hall refuses to document how and where she spends her days.

Harris’ hours became an issue last year after the mayor tapped her to head his $1.75 billion Bloomberg Family Foundation. She and other city officials were spotted at the charity’s Upper East Side headquarters during city work hours.

The Post on Jan. 5 requested under the Freedom of Information Law a year of her public schedules.

Ten months later, City Hall has yet to comply, failing to give any explanation for the long delay.

(Heh, heh, heh).
A few heads need to roll!

It looks like Mayor....excuse me....King Michael/Louis the 16th....Bloomberg has appointed and surrounded himself with do-nothing highly paid aristocrats for the purpose of kissing and wiping his bum and emptying his chamber pot.

Off with their heads Madame Guillotine...then post them on pikes along Brooklyn Bridge!

Yeah, I'm less worried about this, Crappie, than I am about Christine Quinn's yearly slush fund that pays off "Reverend So and So Community Bullshit" and "Gay Blah Blah Community Activist" and all the other CRAP the taxpayers of this city fork over for.

Under FOIL, an agency cannot delay disclosure of records without specifying the reason why additional time is needed. If the Mayor's office has not done that, then it has technically denied the request. The NY Post should appeal, which gives the Mayor's Office just 10 business days to provide the records or dey access, in which case the NY Post is entitled to sue to gain access to the records. Thus it seems as if the NY Post has not done what is should be doing, to obtain the records.

The Mayor's Office is notorious for ignoring FOIL requests, and even appeals. They do this with impunity. While concealing public records is a misdemeanor punishable by a financial penalty and up to 15 days in prison, the fact is that this is not enforced. FOIL needs to be amended so it has some teeth.

A good sharp fencing foil is what's needed to poke Bloomberg in the ass, thus urging him to comply post haste!

Another dunce supported by the good old NYC taxpayers!

Harris managed Bloomberg Corporate Communications and was Vice President at Serino Coyne Advertising. She served for 12 years in the administration of Mayor Edward I. Koch as Executive Director of the Art Commission.

If anyone really looked into this, they would see Mrs Mayor and her chief of staff spend working hours at their Foundation, a clear violation of her city duties.
