People of all stripes can't stand Bloomberg
From NY1:
Mayoral contenders would do well to say “thanks but no thanks” to his blessing their own bids for City Hall, a new NY1/Marist poll finds.
Forty-eight percent of registered voters say an endorsement would make them less likely to vote for that candidate, 30 percent say it would make them more likely, 15 percent say it would make no difference and eight percent aren't sure.
The sentiment cuts across every demographic.

Who cares?
All that really matter are some 50 or so people - you know - the ones on City Council that overturned several thousands of votes that were cast a number of times on the term limits issue.
This man should be an entry in the history books by now. But you said nothing when he was imposed on you again and city council pissed all over you.
And as long as everyone on the City Council shows up and expects you to act like 17th century peasants when the king walks into the room, at a very deep level they don't give two shits what you think - or do.
If you don't respect your own desires, why should they?
It's you "people of all stripes" that elected him to his illegal 3rd term.
I certainly didn't approve of or vote for this nasty, nasal half pint demagogue!
So sit back---put on your 3D glasses and enjoy the last of the "Billionaire Trilogy"---"The Wrath of Bloomberg".
It'll all soon be over and NYC will still be out there once we exit "Mayor Mike's Theater of The Absurd".
After all, we're a city of survivors and will be up on our feet again shortly!
Popcorn anyone?
Bloomberg's NYC is more like the "Blowhole Theater"!
Blowhole theater? More like glory hole theater.
Most of you voted for him or he wouldn't be there. You knew what he was and couldn't resist him, so enjoy!

SORRY NOT SO EASY. WE VOTED FOR HIM BECAUSE OUR CITY COUNCIL, COMMUNITY BOARDS AND MANY CIVIS SUPPORTED HIM - TO SAY NOTHING ABOUT THE NEWSPAPERS.
WHAT WE HAVE HERE IS A MAJOR 'FAIL' OF OUR POLITICAL AND CULTURAL ELITES.
was the progressive /liberal/socialist opposition candidates, in the pockets of the radical public union money launderers, any better ?
N.Y.C. will always be "MOSCOW ON THE HUDSON", unless a gutsy candidate similar to William Buckley can be elected to reform our city government.
as long as the dictatorship, 49 dems to 4 g.o.p. /Conservatives exist in the city council, nothing will improve.
Damn! This blog and the Wall Street protests - I might start believing in the System yet.
William Buckley? What a drunk Jackass - reform you say? These writers - professors are the worst - Bloomberg is just this awful rich dude who makes believe he is not Jewish - what a phony.

I voted for the other guy.
I'm so ahead of the curve because these opinions were 2 years too late.
And remember "one cannot immanentize the eschaton." -William Buckley
Anon No. 7: Start running better candidates and try to win more elections in the city and maybe that will happen, Gramps. Not till then.

Which, like most of his erudition-for-the-masses was actually written by a staffer.
I met him on three occasions, charming fellow, a complete dilettante and somewhat of a fraud.
Classic Conservative.
Bloomberg's really a nice guy, just a terrible mayor!
Wm.F. Buckley was a U.S.Army officer during WWll and a member of the Central Intelligence Agency 1951-53.
his long exposure of Communism in the world would upset those who still harbor the C.P.U.S.A ideology.
