Built in 1939 to handle sea planes, the art deco Marine Air Terminal is New York’s only surviving terminal from the first generation of air travel……and very little has changed over the years...

Yep, our own crude version of The Cultural Revolution.
The Chinese had their drunken peasant Mao...We had a drunken megalomaniac McCarthy.
A sad come-down after our triumph over Hitler and Tojo.
Not much has changed, so very true. LGA runs as slow as it did back then too. Death to the Palestinians! Long live my amazing NYC teacher's pension! Long live Queens Crapper!
Has anyone ever seen a photo of him boarding his private jet? Maybe with the gal pal Taylor and the 2 dogs? I've never seen one. Have you? And this is the paparazzo capital of the world?
George: His events are guarded like fort Nox. Only select Paparazzi and reporters are given clearance via his press Secretary.
Has anyone seen ONE single photo of Bloomberg riding the subway with 3-6 armed cops ? NO that's because not one exists in civilian hands. His private army confiscates your camera or tazes and arrests you if you don't comply.
Its 12-36 hours in a general population holding cell waiting for arraignment. You then need to blow $5000 on a lawyer (unless your an illegal or on welfare)

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. Just curious. Does Mayor Bloomberg have to walk through these doors on his way to and from Bermuda? Or do they just drive him up to the waiting jet?

No security for Mr B!
As if there weren't two classes of people in this country.
Note, Anon #1:
But the mural was uncovered and restored.
I believe it's called "The Story of Flight"
The Boeing 314 "Yankee Clipper" "flying boat" used the terminal.
I think the old ramp that runs up from the water's edge is still there.
Winston Churchill's version of the Boeing clipper is sunk somewhere at sea I remember reading somewhere.

Are you saying these two were equal in the harm they caused?

Not quite.
Der Kommissar Bloomblight keeps his personal custom jet, puddle jumper and chopper are based in New Jersey guarded and out of view.

Prove me wrong.

Scouting NY is one of the best NYC websites out there.
