As far as the pants go....from San Francisco...
"When Marman refused to pull up his drawers, telling a flight attendant, "I paid for my ticket and I’m just going to do what I have to do," the captain placed him under citizen's arrest. Police officers were forced to unload all 150 passengers who were rightfully upset by the needless delay. SFPD Sgt. Michael Rodriguez told KTVU many passengers were left wondering why he didn't just pull his pants up."
Main street has a weird collection of people. There's that dollar lady.
There's the homeless crew that hangs out in Mc Donalds on Roosevelt: the guyanese lady who always wears spandex, the wasian (white/korean) lady and that chubby central American kid. Then there's those homeless transient kids who bet for money with their cardboard signs. Don't forget about that tall white guy who always sits on what is now the old Duane Reade. He looks like a character out of that show mash. This black naked guy is just another one to add to the list.
There are plenty of Americans who still make Flushing their home and aren't planning on leaving.
They live about 2 miles further east where this kind of shit isn't tolerated.
I'm one of them who've left the downtown dump 30 years ago and just love living in Auburndale.
Whizzing high above past Main Street on the LIRR each morning is such a thrill...knowing that I won't be bumping into former Asiatic farmers and dodging snot rockets or infected sputum.
There must be some kind of violation of the health code here.
No different than any brick and mortar food establishment. The majority of them have some health violations. No big deal. If you are not comfortable with the carts you don't have to buy food from them.
I have had Rafiqui's before in Manhattan. Delicious, filling, and affordable.

Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt

Food always tastes better in a styrofoam container using a plastic fork.
Sorry Kevin, I hate this ugly and stupid "fashion too -but this was total overreaction based on power going that crew's heads.
Unless this asshole was showing skin in private areas, they had no right in making an issue of it.
Ofcouse the cops just -had- to off-load all passengers to show their power too.
If I had been a passenger on that plane and this needless delay caused me any measurable loss financially -my lawyers would be in touch.
Unfortunately, that is the only way to get people's heads back in place.
You got a dolla? One dolla? One, dolla. A dolla?

I have never eaten from one of these carts but the smell of the food when you pass by them makes you hungry.
I am referring to Sammy's Halal in Jackson Heights.

What kind of disease specifically Kevin? I call BS.
Raw chicken and beef typically contain possibly fatal bacteria, yet we have no problem cooking these meats and eating them.

Where's the flag? I'm leaving soon, I'll take it with me!
Vibrant! Diverse!
Part of the gorgeous Queens Mosaic!
Let's not judge this poor fellow, it's part of his culture!
Let's pretend we didn't see this!
We wouldn't want to be called racist for noticing the obvious!
Mystery meat off street carts?
No thanks!
