From the Daily News:
Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has slapped subpoenas on education outfits with ties to Queens state Sen. Shirley Huntley, the Daily News has learned.
One subpoena seeking the nonprofit's paperwork went to Huntley's daughter, Pamela Corley, who heads the Parent Information Network, said a source familiar with the probe.
A second went to Vanessa Sparks, president of the Parent Workshop, which Huntley created before becoming a senator, the source said.
The subpoenas are said to seek information on how the groups used state grants.
A Schneiderman spokeswoman had no comment yesterday.
Huntley, who did not receive a subpoena, said she was unaware of the investigation.
The News first reported in August that Parents Information Network had received $30,000 from the state since Huntley took office in 2007 - even while sharing her home address.
Huntley's daughter is the founder and president of the group while the senator's current $85,000-a-year administrative assistant, Pat Savage, is a past president.
Huntley has denied any direct involvement with the group, saying her home address was used because her daughter was living with her at the time it was founded in 1994.
Even though Corley has since moved to Nassau County, Huntley said her address is still used by the nonprofit because its leaders want to remain a Queens entity.
The group got nearly $400,000 in state grants between its inception and when Huntley took office.

When oh when, will the AG finally take on Toby? are the Feds afraid of Evan?
They've probably seen pictures of Toby. That would scare a lot of people.
