The demo part of the job - is the cheapest and easiest - probably used illegals for $8.00 to $12.00 and hour, before they could put a stop payment on their check. (And yes you can stop a bank check -it needs to be bonded for twice the amount written for)
I am sorry for those people who got ripped off by him. I know how it feels to a lesser extent.
I was just screwed by a contractor that I got from the Ledger - His ad quotes Socrates "That a life is only worth living in service to others"
Really... I learned that was a crock of nonsense... I had a bad feeling after the first week of the project, luckily I didnt pay him the full amount, especially after I saw the poor workmanship and lack of supervision by him. I had to get another contractor in to finish the job. Be warned!!!

I think that the guy might have damaged stuff in my home in order to get more work/money out of me. Stuff that he pointed out was broken (but not damaged before) - Scary!!! Got him out of my house as soon as possible. He is toxic - goes on the premise that he will be a "friend for life". Not one iota of truth.
FUCK THIS GUY.
This guy is a dime a dozen. The people they swindle are screwed. Never to get a penny from our "justice system". These contractors have all declared bankruptcy now and have moneylaundered all profits to other businesses and friends and are living high on the hog in new MacMansions all over the NY area.
They learned their greed from Wall Street banking scum who swindled the American public and got away with it with OUR tax money sanctioned by Bush and Geithner.
