Great tour. I wish they would turn the PA-owned landfill into a park...I'm sure the top of that hill offers a great view. Such a waste to leave it off limits. I don't think it was a garbage dump...I suspect it is just a giant pile of dirt from construction of the airport.
In the late 1970's, I used to ride my bike up ontop of this mound and around in the summer. A precursor to mountain-biking. A nice sweet weedy aroma thereon. I guess it's been fenced off now.

The midtown tunnel. The airport needed landfill as it was the bay.
What happened to Kevin's petitions in 2001? Did he get into law school?
