Serial transit stealer busted again

From NY1:

A man with a reputation of impersonating a transit worker is in trouble with the law once again.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown says Darius McCollum, 45, was arrested Tuesday morning in Kew Gardens for allegedly stealing a New York Trailways bus from a maintenance yard in Hoboken, New Jersey.

This isn't the first time McCollum pulled a transit stunt.

He first made headlines when he took over a subway train at the age of 15.

The DA says McCollum has been arrested more than 20 times for commandeering trains and buses, posing as a transit worker and other offenses.

McCollum is charged with grand larceny, possession of stolen property, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.

If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.

A few years served, of a 15 year sentence may cure him of doing this ever again. Worse, this demonstrates we are not safe from terrorist using mass transit as their vehicule of choice to potentially harm us.........................

From what i recall, he has some mental issues. Dont think some prison time will cure that.

What he needs is 24/7 supervision, or to be put down. Either way.
