February 2010: We knew this crap in progress was gonna be ugly last February when we featured it. We just didn't know how ugly...
August 2010: Here we have the "lopsided look". Damn, that's one ugly piece of crap!

You know damn well, when AND IF that thing ever get's finished and more importantly SOLD, there will be cars and trucks and livery cabs parked on EVERY SQUARE INCH of ALL OF THAT CONCRETE surrounding that PATHETIC excuse for a house.
I could just imagine the beautiful old house with it's wonderful front yard (what's that?) and peaceful backyard (what's that?) with its old growth trees that stood on that lot for 100 years that was there before it was DESTROYED to put that thing up.
THIS HAS GOT TO STOP ONCE AND FOR ALL IN THIS CITY. WE NEED POLITICIANS WITH BALLS TO SAY NO TO THESE LANDLORDS AND THEY MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR DESTROYING OUR TREES. WE NEED THEM, WE NEED OUR DRAINAGE, WE NEED OUR SHADE, WE NEED OUR SANITY BACK IN THIS CESSPOOL OF OF CITY.
The same type of crap is being constructed between Bowne Park and Francis Lewis. Also - a lot of houses are being rented out and basically driven into the ground.
The local seniors can't see beyond their Tea Bagger rant for lower taxes and higher Social Security and there aren't any indigenous younger people to take up the cause.
Again, I have to ask the people here as I do not live in Queens. Who exactly is building these developments in Maspeth and Flushing? Also, who exactly is moving into these developments? Immigrants? Younger native born Americans? Also, what types of jobs do these people have? Also, was this a single family house before?
I live out in suburban NJ and overdevelopment is an issue but we don't have anything like this crap. Even Hoboken, a densely populated urban environment, doesn't put up crap like this.
Crappy you are just jealous. cos you don't live in a house with a banister like that one.
where are the anchor babies gonna live? you don't seem to care at all about the hundreds of thousands of babies manufactured in Queens County by those brave hard working immigrant women. They were ripped from their beautiful homeland and forced, yes forced to come to Queens. They had to be forced to take all the government benefits. while they sell Italian ices from a cart with their four young children as shills.
Great, what is that -- five/six homes where one used to stand. One sewer line to handle five or six families, not enough phone or electric feeds and absolutely no dirt/grass/trees. People don't get that when it rains, there's nothing to absorb the water and we all get flooded, we have blackouts, phone outages and everyone complains about the utilities.
Italicized passages and many of the photos come from other websites. The links to these websites are provided within the posts.
Why your neighborhood is full of Queens Crap
"The difference between dishonest and honest graft: for dishonest graft one worked solely for one's own interests, while for honest graft one pursued the interests of one's party, one's state, and one's personal interests all together." - George Washington Plunkitt
The above organizations are recognized by Queens Crap as being beneficial to the city as a whole, by fighting to preserve the history and character of our neighborhoods. They are not connected to this website and the opinions presented here do not necessarily represent the positions of these organizations.
