Ah, so that's what's going on!

From the Daily News:

THE DEVELOPER behind a controversial yet thriving College Point spa plans to open a boutique hotel in an abandoned newspaper office in Flushing, Queens News has learned.

Steve Chon, whose Spa Castle sparked fears of parking woes and overdevelopment during its construction in 2006, hopes to lure lodgers to the bustling stretch of Northern Blvd. by Union St.

A banner along the proposed hotel site bills a "high-end luxurious boutique hotel coming soon." Work permits indicate the construction will finish next year.

Chon did not return phone and email messages for comment, but his associate, Yong Seok Choi, confirmed plans for the hotel.

Locals said the heavily-trafficked area near Flushing High School seems an unusual spot for a "boutique hotel" - a term that usually refers to an intimate, stylish place to stay.

Chon can build the Flushing hotel "as of right" - meaning without a zoning variance by the city.

That's a heck of a location for a "boutique" hotel. How quiet and exclusive!!!

They're chinese, so they don't truly understand the meaning of the english words they use. They use the word "boutique" in an attempt to differentiate their place, hopefully, from the numerous travelodges and motel-6s going up every other block in Queens. Trust me, their will be nothing remotely "boutique" about a hotel across from Flushing High School!

Exactly my point.

The words: "high-end luxurious boutique hotel" and "Flushing, Queens" should NEVER be used in the same story EVER!!!1

Chon is a Korean last name. Maybe if you were culturally educated you would've know the difference. WAIT, you're not.

Even though the location might not be suitable to describe a "boutique" hotel. However, this developer has the money to do whatever he wants. Perhaps he can buy you out to educate other people on crap talking.
