i can provide a better, more current photo of king manor if you'd like. the house is yellow with black shutters now - a far more historically accurate color scheme than white on white!

Rufus King Park was no more dangerous than any other area in NYC. Downtown Jamaica is a real hip place to be. Check it out.
Its been "dangerous" for 40 years now. I suspect the perception of the area will never change.
Let me put it to you this way. There were drug deals going on in broad daylight.

Wi-Fi, but no hospital! Why was Mary Immaculate allowed to close? I say, get Chris Mastromano and Kate Fucigna or Urbina, what ever she calls herself these days and let them sit in the park tending to the sick. Why has the authorities turned a blind eye to the corruption that is causing us needy people to die. Is that the plan?
The park is more dangerous now, that we don't have a hospital.
