From the Daily News:More than 80 Queens elementary school students were sent to the hospital Tuesday after getting sick from drinking contaminated water, authorities said.
Dozens of children began complaining that their stomachs hurt after sipping from water fountains in a new wing at Public School 20 in Flushing just before 1 p.m., the officials said.
Students noticed pink water in toilets and coming from the fountains - which may have resulted from a chemical accidentally dumped into the water supply by a worker fixing the school's air-conditioning system, officials said.

I thought the real news here was that the school had working fountains, and that the delightful taste attracted 80 pupils.
It doesn't take ordinary stupidity to feed propylene glycol into a cold water feed, it takes extra-ordinary stupidity to do that.
What's wrong with the water? It's just as good as the water they were drinking in whatever wonderfully diverse 3rd world country they came from.

Thanks QC :) Now as for the Public School System I couldn't agree more. My child is in a I.G.C. class in elementary school and theres NOTHING GIFTED about it, he's bored out of his mind :( we accommodate him at home with a better QUALITY of work:) IMAO THEY WANT DRONES:(
Maybe they were just extremely thirsty and never thought in a million years that their teachers and principal would poison them? Imagine that,small children blindly trusting adults.
Now explain why grown-ups were willing to walk back into the World Trade Center buildings and burn because security told them to. Blind trust is dangerous.
