Why is the article dated November 4, 1986, yet 6 paragraphs into the article it says:
"Term-limited out of her post in 2001, Shulman did not stray far from the public spotlight."
They knew in 1986 that she would run into problems with term limits?
Either they didn't bother proof reading the article (BIG surprise!), or this is an April Fool's Gag.
It was in last week's edition, which was a 40-year retrospective. So, it wasn't written in 1986, it was looking back at 1986.
