QUEENS (WABC) -- Police are looking for the suspects who stabbed a 12-year-old boy and then apparently tossed him from a car.
According to authorities, FDNY/EMS responded to the scene around 9:15 Saturday night.
They say a woman spotted the boy staggering alongside Jackie Robinson Parkway near Cypress Avenue in Queens.
Reports say the boy was stabbed a dozen times in the back and neck, and then thrown out of a moving car.
The boy was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition.
Police were looking for at least two suspects, but further information was not immediately available.

OMG!!!
14 and 18???
Animals. Just animals.
Donna - animals are BETTER than these savages.
Very sad story.
And secondly, a 12 year old boy should be home with his parents not hanging around with 14 and 18 year olds.
So sad. These parents don't realize that what they do or don't do, I should say, ruins their kid's lives forever.
It's more that they don't care.
Maybe the 12 year old was abducted. Just because he was with them didn't mean it was voluntary.
UPDATE from Village Voice:
Police are are questioning two teenaged suspects in the Saturday night stabbing of 12-year-old Luis Martinez of Brooklyn. Initial reports suggested that Martinez, who was found bleeding from multiple wounds on the Jackie Robinson Parkway, was thrown from a car, but police are now saying that he walked there from nearby Highland Park where the stabbing took place to find help. A passing motorist stopped and called 911.
Police sources told the Daily News that Martinez went to the park, which is near his East New York home, to get stoned with Wayne Henderson, 15, and an unnamed 14-year-old girl. Reportedly, Henderson was mad at the kid for "getting him into trouble the last time they smoked pot," and he dealt with that by stabbing him, one report says 12 times, in the neck and chest.
Just say no to weed!
The more things change the more the stay the same.
Things like this have been going on since humans started to socialize. They vary slightly from story to story but essentially they're the same.
my son can think i'm the worst mom ever but i don't allow him to hang out on the streets and parks. i rather him be at home playing games or with friends where i know what they are doing. it's a shame, so young and he'll never be the same.
Parents. Follow the George the
Atheist Underwear Rule and you can't go wrong: So long as a parent buys the child's underwear, the offspring must listen to everything the parent says. 10 to 1 both the marijuana-smoking kid who was stabbed and his assailant wear underwear paid by their parents. I bet you even the Underwear Bomber's skivvies were paid for by his banker father.
30 years ago after my mom died, my brother went a little off the rails. He was forbidden to go to Astoria Park without his parents because of the drugging and drinking going on.
When he went down to the river anyway, my father found him there and beat him all the way home with a yardstick.
He was so humiliated and still remembers, but he never so much as smoked a joint or came home drunk in all the years he's been alive. Child abuse for sure.
He's lucky that he walked towards Queens. If he walked the other way, deeper into Brooklyn, he would of bled to death because no one would have stopped.
This is truly a tragedy, and i know for a fact that his family is suffering very much. My prayers are with them. It's true when they say you should choose your friends wisely. But what is truly sad is that someone is taking this tragic situation to post their disgusting racist remarks calling the poor kids sister a spigger and insinuating that it was deserved because he was a "mud colored" kid smoking weed. True that the child had no buisness doing so. But where is the compassion after all he is human no matter what his ethnicity is!
