Parks messes up Christmas tree planting

From Sunnyside Post:

The Woodside tree is located at Sohncke Square–across the street from St. Sebastian’s church. The tree, delivered by the Parks Department last week, has been planted on top of concrete, leaving little room for its root system to spread out. The tree’s growth will be stunted.

The Parks Dept. has assured residents that it will grow. However, people don’t know whether the growth will be in inches or feet.

Oddly enough there are naturally-dwarf trees that will not grow more than a foot or two tall for many decades. If the Parks Department selected one of those, and it is a better selection for the location than a full-sized tree, it will do fine in the cramped space.

If woodside on the move has anything to do with it, the landlords will be allowed to come in and chop the tree into little tiny pieces.

The planting was not messed up. This is the kind of tree that should grow in shade and in the shadow of the 7 train. Time will tell but for now it is lovely and decorated beautifully by the children of the neighborhood.

It won't survive if the roots have nowhere to go.

That’s the problem with this corrupt, morally bankrupt country—it trickles down on all our little heads, just like Uncle Ronnie told us it would!!!

The left hand doesn’t know the right hand is doing and nobody seems to care. The rich don’t care because the working people pay for everything in this country anyway!! Government, Industry, Education, Free Press, Judicial system—all our institutions have failed us. Our society, our country, has a corrupt soul and I don’t know if we are at a point beyond which it can be repaired.

Maybe that is the natural course for all societies. But what is indisputable is that a country that has lost its soul suffers a painful death.

Things are not how people seem to imagine them to be in this country (and the world)—they are far worse.

In this case, the park dept workers don’t give a sh-t about whether they do the right thing—they don’t think about the fact that they pay for the waste themselves or if they do it doesn’t prevent them from just getting more angry at the “system” or the status quo and the injustice of this corrupt country.

This anger creates more frustration and feelings of powerlessness and creates more waste. It’s a sociological phenomenon—like exploited employees who anonymously vandalize the company which employs them.

The director of parks dept doesn’t care and he gets paid too much and so has too much to lose so he just wants to keep mistakes quiet and keep his head down and cover up the truth—it’s never about doing the right thing when you have too much to lose.

And Billionaire Bloomberg—well he’ll chip in $100 million of his own $20 Billion to steal Democracy—but you and I can pay for everything else he and his super-rich buddies have!!!! All Billionaires made their money off the ‘GOOD FAITH” of the people. That’s how you value a currency by its society—outside that context one man is insignificant. They say he is a self-made Billionaire. Drop Billionaire Bloomberg out in the desert and let him single-handedly build a society of one!!!! Hah! And then he can legitimately claim for himself all that he possesses!

Frauds, Liars and Thieves—GOD BLESS THE USA!!!
