The battle over the Bay Ridge Wall in Brooklyn has prompted a court ruling. Fox 5's John Deutzman has been investigating this story about one homeowner who built a huge concrete wall just two inches from his neighbor's house.
A battle over the homeowner's construction project has raged for two years. The city's Buildings Department has issued three stop work orders against the project and is pressing criminal charges against the man who put up the wall for not obeying the orders.
i dont feel bad for this guy. if he bought a house that goes right up to the property line, then one day someone might do the same thing next door and build a building right up to their property line (causing the 2 inch gap).
this guy could be proscuted but the city cannot come in a tear down the crap.. b.s they can and they should... poor guy has to worry about his foundation on his property, i would sue the bastard next door.

Wow, that poor guy nextdoor is NEVER getting any pudding unless he eats his meat.

The zoning prohibited that when he bought his house. Wait a minute...it still does!
The "Great Wall" comes to Queens.
