Her husband died 10 years ago, so a Queens woman was startled to get a letter from the Board of Elections notifying her that he had changed his voter-registration form last month.
A Philadelphia businessman was equally perplexed when he received a letter saying his 92-year-old mother had filed a new voter-registration card in July that didn't match her previous form.
"She's legally blind and suffering from dementia," the son told The Post yesterday. "I told them the reason for this discrepancy is because the information is fraudulent."
Officials say those voter-registration forms were among 1,913 delivered to the Queens board between Aug. 3 and 17 by Lilianna Zulunova, campaign manager for Albert Cohen, one of six candidates running to succeed Councilwoman Melinda Katz (D-Queens) in today's Democratic primary election.
More than half the registrations -- 1,037 -- had missing information, so the board sent out letters to the registrants asking that they supply the data.
Ninety-two were returned as undeliverable. In at least three cases, the registrants turned out to be dead.
Board officials removed those and other suspect registrations from the voter rolls and alerted higher-ups at central headquarters, who say they will conduct a "review" after the November election.
Zulunova insisted that Cohen's campaign, which conducted the first exhaustive voter-registration drive in the Bukharan Jewish community, had nothing to do with any fake registrations.
"If they're dead, they're no good to me -- they can't vote," she declared.

When you vote today, make sure to select MICHAEL Cohen, not the fraudulent namesake who's in the race to cause confusion.
Rule of thumb: if ACORN supports any candidate, that's the red flag for you to NEVER support that candidate.

The BOE should have aletered the FEDs and set up a sting operation at the EDs where these criminals registered dead people. Then when someone showed up to vote, slap the cuffs on them!

Sounds like Glenn Beck saying there was over a million tea party nuts at the Washington Mall when there was barely 60,000 reported by the fire dept count.
Nice interviews on the news with tea party folks holding signs indicating there scared for the white race.
Its just unstable right wingers who want revenge for all the voter fraud Karl Rove pulled which he has been in court for over the last year facing serious charges in many states.

Now we know that Karl Rove spearheaded the firing of David Iglesias, the U.S. Attorney in New Mexico who refused to follow the Bush White House’s orders to intimidate low-income voters by making false charges of “voter fraud.” What The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal and other major papers missed in their stories last week was that Rove was specifically targeting ACORN, the community organizing group that has waged some of the most effective voter registration drives in recent memory.
What does this particular case have to do with ACORN, "Taxpayer"?

Is it voter fraud when not once,not twice but for 3 individuals the machine jams and you're told YOU VOTED by the poll worker and when you protest you find out that supposedly there ARE NO POLL WATCHERS and the same machine continues to remain in service ?
all in ed 16 and reported.and during the report to albany,due to nobody picking up the phone in kEw gardens,you find out you were supposed to have been issued a paper ballot and the machine was to have been locked and taken out of service.
we all probably voted for nOOOboMba.
now why would I be thinking that ?

machine malfunctioned upon closing rthe curtain--entire republican line jammed,told I voted....etc

THERE MUST BE A FULL AND HARD INVESTIGATION AND REAL PUNISHMENT IF PROVEN.
P.S. One of the bullies was Cohen's Campaign Manager who first said she was voter's daughter and filled out elderly voter's ballot, next time in she claimed she was Press, next legal Poll Watcher (lost track of her identities).

can someone tell me more about this? if this happened in kew gardens then why are we as voters not making this a huge issue. you need to tell these voters to file complaints and come forward.
Voter fraud is easy in NYC. As they say: Vote early - and Often!
Just register at locations all over the city, and show up at each polling place you are registered for. You can even use fake names. It doesn't matter.
Just for fun, look up the voter record of your friends at the NYS BoE https://voterlookup.elections.state.ny.us/votersearch.aspx:
Friends that have:
1) moved to different districts IN NYC
2) moved out of NYC
3) moved out of NY state
What you'll find is those that left the city or state are still listed as registered in the NY State database (which gets it's info from the NYC Board of Elections). So for our last Presidential election, is was entirely possible for someone to vote twice for President.
How can that happen? The person votes where they actually reside, and have a friend show up at their former polling place, or file an absentee ballot by mail.
How can that work? At the last poll you went to, did anyone ask you for ID? Were you asked to bring in the orange voter reminder postcard from the NYC BoE that was mailed to your address? Did you have to help the senior citizen poll worker find "your" name in the poll book?
The current system is corrupt. Both parties abuse it. The database needs to be purged of the dead, the non residents, and the duplicate NYC voters. Perhaps it should be added to the Jury Duty source list, maybe then something will happen.
