Violent home invasion in Jamaica

Thugs hurt 3 at home
By JOHN DOYLE, NY Post

Three people were wounded in a frightening home invasion in Queens early yesterday by a group of crazed intruders who apparently had the wrong address, police said.

At 12:35 a.m., the four thugs followed two people into an apartment in a three-family home on 157th Street in Jamaica, telling the victims they were looking for "Gino."

When the tenants said they had no idea who that was, the perpetrators stabbed one, a 39-year-old man, three times in the back.

They then slashed the hand of a 49-year-old city teacher upstairs, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said.

The hoods found a third man, 34, cooking in the basement and scalded him, Kelly said.

The hoods fled with an unknown sum of money but never found Gino, Kelly said.

The burn victim was in stable condition at New York Hospital. The two knifed victims were treated at Jamaica Hospital and released.

Yesterday's incident followed a home invasion in Jamaica on Monday.

I hope Gino finds them instead and kills a few before the cops track them down.

Obviously a gang (or mafia) related incident.

Gee...its the police that usually get the wrong address and bust in.

Accomplishing what, George? You're assuming that they would have been able to get to their guns, or that no innocent people would be caught in the crossfire.

George has a point. They might have had a fighting chance or the hoodlums might have steered clear entirely. Thugs are often cowards.

Maybe they would have steered clear, and maybe not. There are all kinds of scenarios that could be played out here, and most of them have equally unhappy endings.
