Just who else is funding Shulman's group?

From the Neighborhood Retail Alliance:

In our view, aside from the legality of the group's main activity, an investigation needs to focus on who is funding-and will potentially benefit from the LDC's lobbying activities. Because we read that: "In July, the city-funded group was fined a record $59,090 because Shulman forgot to register as a lobbyist. The fines will be paid from private donations, not city funds, Shulman's spokesman said."

Are these private funds coming from real estate firms with an eye on the Willets Point properties? If so, who are they, and how much are these, "private funds," also supporting a lobbying effort that will-potentially-accrue to their benefit? All of these firms, in our view, should be registered as lobbying the city-and the use of the LDC subterfuge shouldn't be allowed to cover up the intentions of predatory real estate scavengers. The entire situation has the redolence of an episode of The Sopranos.

Probably "TDC"!

Just ask (or subpoena) the "little duke" of Wellington (Chen)!

Like a bad penny...he's still around from the good ol' days of Donald Manes.

And that Jabba the Hutt, sitting to his right, could spill the beans on everybody if she were properly put to the question by the feds!

That old cow's body is as corrupt as her practices.

The Picture of Dorian Gray IN THE FLESH...and plenty of it!

Watch TDC/F&T/Fultonex and all of those companies associated with Wellington Chen. He's been on this land grab deal from the start. In fact, it was Wellington who first presented it to the “shakers and rollers” at the Flushing Library.

Shulman stopped that meeting and refused to go on when she discovered representatives from Tully and other Willets Point businesses were in the room.

Wellington's presentation continued after Dan Scully and the others left the meeting.

Get the books from her, FAST!

Point of information: How do the other LDC's, Cultural Institutions and Community Organizations pay a lobbyist? All of them get government (city) funding. Seems to me that taxpayers dollars are being spent to pay the lobbyists. This practice should also be investigated. Start with The Parkside Group. They have been stong-arming the Queens organizations for years

Good Question. All these community based business and lobby groups need to come clean as to where their money is coming from.

Lots of stuff going on but I cannot name names.

Filings are made - the totals are a matter of public record. But the details are not.

Betsy? Hello?

When asked to comment about the current controversy about her illegal lobbying activities, Shulman said, "MOO"!

And then she spat out her cud onto the questioner's shoes!

Let's hope the feds don't view Shulman as an untouchable sacred cow.
