Of course unions are corrupt. After all, there's nothing wrong with companies who have just been put on life-support by the American taxpayer paying their "producers" millions--hmm, produced a financial meltdown.
We have to pay for that kind of talent. We don't have anything left over to pay the security guards who guard the money with their lives, the bank tellers who serve the customers, the secretaries who take the calls...
I expect that all true Republicans go to work today to protest a government that celebrates socialism by glorifying their workers. Every Republican should know that workers exist only to comfort the wealthy (The real Americans). The workers in Texas and the other Red states already know this to be true. Wake up liberals.

I prefer celebrating Oct. 12. The Day of Entrepreneurial Recognition: in commemoration of the great Cristoforo Colombo. Labor wanted to turn back, but the Keen Navigator said "push-on".

Some jobs require you to work on Labor Day.

Labor Day's well and good but I prefer May Day.
By the way, parts of this article seem to have been lifted from the Wikipedia article on Labor Day.

The Men of Vision trump the Workers.
George, you're a self parody, but at least you're amusing.
Oh thank you, most gracious sire. The kindness you show to a peasant is overwhelming.
