Screw this guy. Yale grad living off our $$$. He was busted for getting our $$$$$$ and using it to fund a "office" for the Coney assoc.,but also lived in the space . That's a no no. You can't get public funds to run a "no profit" and live off the same funds. Go back to your family $$$ and get a job. Your a fake, I feel bad for all the creative people who follow you, it's a shame.

So shoot the messenger and ignore the message? My concern is for the future of the Coney Island Amusement area and one person should not spoil the fight to save the property from Doomberg and friends.

Does Claire Shulman know about this?

I don't know if Shulman knows about this, it was in the Tmes about a year ago I believe. Is she in charge of such funds? I'm not aware. I do believe that everyone hands are out and they want it to be greased including the self proclaimed mayor of Coney. It's gonna be sad and fun to watch this mess advance.

Yes, she is in charge of such funds. She founded the Flushing-Willets point-Corona Local Development Corporation, which got $250,000 in funds from the city.

What ever happened to the charges of illegal lobbying against Shulman? Did she get the $250,000 while she was engaged in illegal activities? Was she fined for her transgressions? I guess there are parallel issues involving WP and Coney Island. Whatever the case, it is our tax money that is being freely disbursed to these ne'er do wells.

BRING IN THE FEDS!

What happen is Mr Coney received $$$ to run the non profit that he is president of about Coney. He lived in the space that housed the Corporation which is illegal. Basically we paid his rent.
My question is, does Shulman use the public funds that are for the non profit org. to pay her rent???

Typical misinformation. The city only paid for a building for Zigun's Coney Island USA. They are on their own after that. He was living in a legal apartment in that building when they were renters and once the city gave them funds to buy the building Zigun had to get out. He was in the process of looking for an apartment when his arch nemesis Joe Sitt of Thor Equities ran to his buddy Rich Calder of the NY Post to screw with Dick, hence the one sided article "exposing" his living arrangement.

The Yale grad. lived off my dime . Face it. He is misleading all those who follow him. The performers and other artists are going to be hurt and will look like fools after Zigun sells out to the city and receives $$$$ to play nice.
It's gonna come out , the Yale grad is not a fool. He a sly fox.
Enjoy the last days of classic Coney and be prepared for Bloomyland.
Have a nice day, enjoy the summer.
