The Bloomberg campaign has lined up a group of deep-pocketed Democrats to endorse the billionaire mayor in his bid for a third term, The Post has learned.
"Democrats for Bloomberg" could be disastrous for mayor wannabe Bill Thompson, the Democratic city comptroller whose war chest needs a big-bucks boost.
The luxe list includes billionaire Jonathan Tisch, a major Democratic fund-raiser, and Iranian investment banker Hassan Nemazee, Hillary Clinton's former finance chairman.
The group could also damage Thompson, who is black, because it includes prominent African-Americans.
