Triboro Bridge hawk nest is back

From Urban Hawks:

It's clear by the parents behavior, that they're no longer sitting on eggs, but have hatchlings...

Good to see them. They kill plenty of rats. I saw a hawk in Astoria Park years ago, I thought I was cracking up.

I am sorry but the Triboro bridge no longer exist. We do have a RFK Bridge though.

It will always be the triboro bridge. i don't care if they change it, you know big time pay out for that one. it's nice to see hawks in NYC area, maybe there will be less pigeons.

Tell me, has anyone stopped calling it "Sixth Avenue?" It's never been "Sixth Avenue" since I was born, but no New Yorker uses anything else.

How about the "59th Street" bridge. I had a friend driving around aimlessly for hours looking for that bridge while repeatedly passing signs for the Queensborough bridge.

What about "Derry" vs. "Londonderry" in Ireland. The name you use can tell a stranger your entire story if he is wise. Anyone can declare a new name, no one has to use it.

On the other hand, if you asked someone to get to Fourth Ave and 23rd St, they probably wouldn't be find that either - even though, it has been called "Park Ave South" for a shorter time than Sixth Ave. has been called "Avenue of the Americas."
