Man without a party wants all their ballot lines

From the Daily News:

Now that Mayor Bloomberg has locked down the Republican and Independence Party ballot lines in his reelection bid, he can turn his attention to a more elusive target: the labor-backed Working Families Party.

Even as Bloomberg campaign aides worked to shore up GOP support, they have been quietly meeting with leaders of the WFP and key union officials whose votes will be crucial to landing the party's endorsement.

Or, at the very least, they aim to block a Democrat from getting it.

And from the NY Observer:

Should the mayor pull off this trifecta, it would be, roughly speaking, the political equivalent of serving simultaneously as the president of the Red Sox, Yankees and Mets fan clubs. These are not groups that see the world the same way—not even close.

What a PIG! Oh, that was the Albany post. How ironic.

I'm seriously freakin speechless with this shit. I just took 5 minutes and sent a mass email to all of the chapters of the WFP about how disgusted I am from even reading about the possibility. I know it probably won't do anything, or even be read for that matter. But it made me feel a little better. Maybe you guys could too.......

If Der Fuhrer Bloomberg offers them enough to buy them out they sell!

We've got one of the most dangerous (although appearing seemingly wimpy) despots running NYC.

But Mike takes his cues from Joe Stalin's game book.

AND YOU THE VOTERS WILL ALLOW HIM TO CONTINUE HIS PURGES OF THE POOR AND MIDDLE CLASS FROM THE GATES OF THIS CITY!

We don't need an armed insurrection to kick this pompous bastard out JUST VOTE AGAINST HIM!

Any other candidate will do!

ONLY YOU VOTERS CAN MAKE MIKE A MAN WITHOUT A CITY!

KICK THE RICH BUM OUT!

Now that the Republican Party leaders have eaten their meal of scraps of Commissar shit, the Commissar move right along to his next beggars.

Registered Republicans need to ask the party officials if there were just no person anywhere in New York City who is qualified to be mayor.

Nobody at all?

The Republican Party of NYC is a joke, and I say that as a Republican.

Right now, the Republican party of the state and country is a joke. I suspect that the only way to save it is to form a new party from the ashes

OK, whining and complaining and making declarative statements like 'I will not vote for him!' might make you feel better, but without some plan to

1. indentify his strenghts
2. find weaknesses in this
3. propose a susbstitute

we are all pretty much wasting our time.

So Crappy, how about a start with an anti-Bloomturd website under the banner 'Dont Tread on Me?'

And lets restrict ourselves to crafting a plan.

A series of 'I don't like the guy' might make you feel good, but pretty much does shit.

Anyone but Bloomberg

Bloomturd lies through his teeth...and gets away with it! That is his strength. Of course, his weakness is that lies eventually catch up with you. Case in point. His ads claim that he will create 400,000 jobs for the city but his own office feels that he is overreaching. Of course, no one will know that until he is already in his 3rd term.

That is stupid. Prove him wrong half way through his third term.

The smart thing is do deny him that term.

He gets away with it because people are not motivated. We are so used to the machine taking care of us, that we have lost our edge.

You know what? It reminds me of Eloi and Morlocks in the Time Machine.

wow reading this shit and my phone rings the number comes up as 917-111-1111 name unavailable, so i answer it to find out its bloomass people doing a survey on how many people are going to vote for him. this guy went on and on how bloomass is going to create jobs and schools for the working families, which is a fxxking joke, so i told him NO not voting for him and then he went on to try to change my mind and again i repeated NO and hung up. If anyone one is UNION, you have to tell your fellow memebers not to vote this ass in again. Bloombass has projects thru out the tri-state and he used non union workers on these sites. NYC should be UNION only, he should not be hiring companies who hire day laborers. PRO UNION all the way. My husband died and not enough is done for our UNION workers for their safety and we need to change this policy and it has to start with our UNIONS not backing this asshole back into office.

I intend to nominate him for the ceiling on your head party. This is a new political movement where your ceiling moves rapidly towards the floor with your body in between.

Recent luminaries of this party include the artist buried in cement in Long Island City, the 8 people trapped in Harlem after the building facade fell on them, and me, the lady whose living room ceiling.

I intend to give him and his Department of Buildings special recognition. I can't wait to give him his nomination speech.

Bloomberg could send over a line of the most beautiful chorus girls in NYC to offer me some head as a voting incentive.

I'd turn them away and send hizzoner packing with a firm, "NO"!

All the money in the world won't convince me to sell out our hard won democracy by giving this usurper a third term!

Hang the traitor at the polls!
