From the NY Post:Comptroller Bill Thompson has launched his toughest attack against Mayor Bloomberg, ripping his City Hall rival as someone concerned only with shielding his wealthy pals while giving away the store to developers.
"Time and again, he has proven that he will fight to protect the interests of the rich," Thompson declared in a little-noticed speech to the black and Hispanic Caucus in Albany a few weeks ago.
"He cares about how he is doing. I care about how you are doing. New Yorkers are working harder for less. Meanwhile, developers are getting sweetheart deals."

It's political retoric - Thomson is already in office - why does he not effectively through his office challenge what he charges? He he simply running for mayor retoric - so that more of the same will occur? This guy has no B''ls - when are the people going to experience honest government unemcumberred by self-interest?
Its the first time in my life when I could honestly say that I would be more then happy to see any oth the democratic candidates win the primery.
Now one of them just has to beat Bloomberg.
And where does "wild" Bill Thompson get his money from?

All the pols running against Bloomie have their snouts in the real estate industry's trough!

Pull his past record and you'll find he's the most honest when it comes to this!
